At Cykel PRO we offer service, repair and maintenance of regular bicycles, e-bikes and cargo bikes. Our goal is to increase safety, improve function, reduce wear on the components and extend the life of your bicycle.
All service work is adapted to the type of bicycle and carried out within the scope stated for each service.
Small bicycle service 299 SEK
For basic maintenance and minor adjustments of the bicycle.
What is included
- Adjustment of front and rear brakes.
- Adjustment of the gears for smoother shifting.
- Inspection and lubrication of the chain.
- Basic function check of brakes and gears.
General bicycle service 449 SEK
A regular service to check the function and safety of the bicycle’s most important mechanical components.
What is included
- Inspection and adjustment of front and rear brakes.
- Adjustment of the gear system.
- Cleaning and lubrication of the chain.
- Inspection of front and rear hubs.
- Inspection of front and rear rims.
- Inspection of the wheels’ spokes and spoke nipples.
- Inspection of spoke tension and any wheel wobble.
- Inspection of tyre condition and wear.
- Inspection and adjustment of tyre pressure.
- Re-tightening of important screws and nuts.
- Inspection of handlebar, stem, saddle and pedals.
- Inspection of brake pads and brake cables.
- Inspection of front and rear lights.
- Replacement of batteries in the front and rear lights when needed. Both the batteries and the work are included in the service price.
- Visual inspection of worn components.
- Overall safety and function check of the bicycle.
- Light cleaning and simple polishing adapted to the bicycle’s paint.
Please note: Adjustment of spoke tension and adjustment and truing of the wheels are not included in the service price. This work is charged separately when needed.
E-bike service 999 SEK
This service includes every step of our general bicycle service plus an inspection of the bicycle’s electrical parts.
What is included
- Inspection of the electric motor’s function.
- Inspection of the battery’s outer condition and mounting.
- Inspection of accessible battery connections.
- Inspection of display and electronic controls.
- Inspection of visible cables and connections.
- Inspection of speed and pedal sensors.
- Function test of the motor assistance.
- Basic inspection of the electrical system.
- Electronic diagnostics with compatible equipment, when available.
- Software update for supported systems.
- Inspection of chain, gears and drivetrain.
- Final safety and function check.
- Light cleaning and simple polishing.
Please note: Internal repair of the motor or battery and advanced troubleshooting are not included in this package. Software updates and electronic diagnostics are only carried out on compatible systems.
Spare parts and further repairs outside the scope of the service are charged separately.
Cargo bike service 999 SEK
For cargo bikes, family bikes and box bikes.
What is included
- Inspection and adjustment of the brakes.
- Adjustment of the gears.
- Cleaning and lubrication of the chain.
- Inspection of hubs, wheels, spokes and rims.
- Inspection of the tyres and adjustment of tyre pressure.
- Inspection of the box’s construction and mountings.
- Re-tightening of screws on the box and the bicycle frame.
- Inspection of handlebar and steering system.
- Inspection of steering joints and moving connections in the steering system.
- Lubrication of suitable joints and connections.
- Inspection of shock absorbers on models that have them.
- Inspection of brake pads and brake function.
- Inspection of front and rear lights.
- Replacement of batteries in the front and rear lights when needed. Both the batteries and the work are included in the service price.
- Inspection of electrical system, motor, cables and sensors on compatible electric models.
- Inspection of important mountings and the safety of the box.
- Light cleaning and simple polishing.
Please note: New spare parts are charged separately, except batteries for the front and rear lights.
Professional bicycle cleaning and polishing 399 SEK
A more thorough cleaning than the light cleaning included in the service packages.
What is included
- Use of special bicycle care products.
- No traditional water washing or pressure washing.
- Initial cleaning of the frame and accessible components.
- A second cleaning round to remove remaining dirt.
- Gentle cleaning of sensitive parts.
- Cleaning of accessible areas around wheels and frame.
- Final polishing and surface treatment adapted to the bicycle’s paint and material.
On matte surfaces, products intended for that particular finish are used. Braking surfaces are not polished.
Free bicycle inspection Free of charge
Cykel PRO offers this service free of charge to give the customer an overview of the bicycle’s general condition.
What is included
- Basic inspection of the bicycle’s general condition.
- Inspection of brake function.
- Inspection of gear function.
- Inspection of the chain’s condition.
- Visual inspection of tyre condition.
- Inspection of wheel condition.
- Basic inspection of important mountings.
- Identification of worn or damaged components.
- Review of any problems with the customer.
- Repair suggestions and a price quote when needed.
No repairs that involve costs and no component replacements are carried out without the customer’s approval.
The inspection does not include specialised troubleshooting, dismantling of components or inspection of the bicycle’s electrical system.
Troubleshooting 449 SEK
For bicycles where the problem is unclear and the cause of the fault needs to be identified.
What is included
- Review of the customer’s description of the problem.
- Step-by-step inspection of the components concerned.
- Testing of the mechanical parts that may be linked to the fault.
- Inspection of brakes, gears or chain when relevant to the problem.
- Inspection of bearings, hubs or other components concerned.
- Function tests to identify the cause of the fault.
- Troubleshooting of compatible electrical systems with available equipment.
- Explanation of the likely cause of the fault to the customer.
- Suggestion of a suitable repair.
- Price quote before the repair work begins.
Please note: The price of 449 kr applies to troubleshooting. Repairs, spare parts and special electronic troubleshooting outside the scope of the service are charged separately.
Electric motor service 1,799 SEK
For motors whose design allows dismantling and internal service.
What is included
- Inspection of the motor’s function.
- Inspection for abnormal noise and vibration.
- Inspection of wear on mechanical components.
- Dismantling of the parts of the motor that can be serviced.
- Inspection of bearings and internal components.
- Cleaning of internal components that can be serviced.
- Identification of worn or damaged components.
- Replacement of necessary components.
- Lubrication with grease according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Reassembly and function test of the motor.
- Final check after service.
The price of 1 799 kr includes labour and the spare parts needed within the scope of this service.
A one-year warranty is given on the service work carried out, according to Cykel PRO’s terms.
Please note: Not all motors can be serviced internally. Opening the motor may affect the manufacturer’s warranty.
Headset service 799 SEK
For safe and smooth steering of the bicycle.
What is included
- Inspection of the steering function.
- Inspection for play or abnormal resistance in the headset.
- Dismantling of components that can be serviced.
- Cleaning of bearings and bearing seats.
- Inspection of bearings, seals and worn components.
- Replacement of damaged components.
- Lubrication with suitable grease.
- Reassembly and careful adjustment.
- Check that the handlebar moves smoothly.
- Tightening of related screws and mountings.
- Final safety check.
The price of 799 kr includes labour and the spare parts needed within the scope of this service.
A one-year warranty is given on the service work carried out.
Information about service prices and spare parts
Our service prices include labour, cleaning and normal consumables.
Any spare parts are charged separately. We always tell the customer the price and wait for approval before any parts are replaced or extra repair work is carried out.
For services with a one-year warranty, Cykel PRO’s warranty terms apply. The warranty does not affect the customer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Services Act.
